Bloody Bride Patch 1.01 ======================= This is an English patch for the Atlus video game "Bloody Bride - Imadoki no Banpia" released in 1996 for the Sony Playstation. This patch is in no way intended to infringe upon Atlus's copyrights. This patch is not for sale, but is provided for free and may not be sold in any format. Please do not distribute illegal copies of the game (either ISO, BIN or burned CD-Rs). It is hard to find, but is usually available at either Yahoo Japan or eBay. Requests for patched or unpatched ISOs will be ignored. Revision History ---------------- 1.01 - 100% complete, now that MAGROM is translated. See notes below regarding known deficiencies. 1.00B - 100% complete beta. First "official" release of the game patch. This is actually only 98.8% complete. See notes below regarding known deficiencies. 0.69A - 69% complete alpha. Unedited, very Engrishy, just ask Spinner 8. :-) Future (Potential) Enhancements ---------------------- - Once I have a distribution channel in place, the subtitled movies will be available. If you are willing to host about 180Meg worth of movie patches, please let me know at the contact addresses at the end of this document. This absolutely will be released, I just need the best method given it's size. - Once I have the analysis macro coded, I'm seriously considering making a mixed case patch. Basically I have to figure out how many combinations of characters I need and rework my replacement font. Known issues ------------ - There are a few unchanged kanji, but as above, I can't find them in the game. - I'm trying to figure out how to fix the "ow" stat on the status screen refers to physical power. There are several places it could be and I'm trying to isolate it. It wasn't worth holding things up on, though. Contact ------- If you use this patch, I ask that you email me at either HairRaiser(at)comcast.net or BloodyBride(at)comcast.net just so I get a warm fuzzy feeling that there are people enjoying the game. Bug reports can be sent there as well. Please be as descriptive as possible. Thanks ------ - Atlus for making a fun little game. Too bad it never officially was translated, but I'm glad to have the opportunity to do it. It was alot of fun. - Mihoko Chinju for helping me with translating the movies. Her work saved me several weeks work. - Whirlpool (http://donut.parodius.com/), RPG Dimension (http://rpgd.emulationworld.com/) and Phantasian Productions (http://cless.lfx.org/) for various help and message boards. - My wife for not pitching a fit as I worked alot of hours on this thing.
